“May the 4th Week” is the annual meeting that brings together science fiction and Star Wars fans in Cali city. This event has been created with the support of the Centro Cultural Colombo Americano, the Star Wars-Cali community, and the sponsorship of allied organizations.

Within the framework of the meeting "May the 4th Week", the exhibition was held at the Humberto Hernández gallery "Question of Faith, Question of Force: Local representations of the Star Wars imaginary"; this collective exhibition brought together the work of nine local artists that depict from their imaginary the Star Wars Universe.

Self-Programming is a portrait sculpture that represents artistically the imaginary of the iconic science fiction character Darth Vader. The appearance of the artistic piece seeks to link aesthetics extracted from artificial landscapes and symbols present in the global geek culture.
