Artist Statement
Electronic arts represent a digital extension of the narrative of my work and materialize a space in which artificial landscapes are created and reproduced.

I have a marked interest in the aesthetic relationships between the natural and the artificial, this is the main reason that drives me to feel the need to carry out my artistic practice.

My artistic language revolves around a particular theme: The aesthetics of artificial landscapes. From a young age, I have been interconnected and surrounded by technology, These experiences have allowed me to question the naturalistic and linear views about the ecology of the living, leading me to contemplate the existence of a world beyond the human, which incorporates aspects such as virtuality, technology, science, art, and forms of relationship with humans and non-humans. The interpretation of the structure, form, material, and function of these artificial ecologies present in isolated and unknown biospheres in our environment, have determined the appearance of my artistic pieces.

Having a multidisciplinary approach allows me to connect representational media such as painting, sculpture, and object art with digital and electronic practices such as virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence. My artwork is not limited to the confines of the museum or gallery, as it comes into contact with the public sphere through the development of public art pieces and projects involving art education and social phenomena.

Electronic arts represent a digital extension of the narrative of my work and materialize a space in which artificial landscapes are created and reproduced.
