With the installation of 300 empty desks (representing stories of victims of human trafficking); the Office of United Nations on Drug and Crime (UNODC) as part of the global campaign “Blue Heart” and with the support of the Ministry of Interior, OIM and European Union, the last July 30 was celebrated in Cali city, the first world day against trafficking in persons.

The intervention of public art was visited by more than 12.000 passersby and made part of the strategy “Conmigo No Hay Trata” (With me There is no Trafficking) that seeks to mobilize public opinion of citizens, authorities, and private companies against the slavery of XXI century.

The art exhibition was available for two days and fulfilled the objective of breaking into the routine of pedestrians for the purpose of showing them through the empty spaces, the impact of human trafficking on society.

The installation counted with the participation of four artists from Valle del Cauca, who intervened eight desks, taking up the concept of "trafficking in persons" and the existent slavery of the XXI century. This Project had the intervention and collaborative work of the artists José Camilo Palacio Constain, Mateo Aguirre Bonilla, Cintia López, and Antonia Otoya.
